How to check your internet speed

  • To check your internet speed on a mobile phone, tablet, or computer, open a web browser and go to Fast.com.

  • On other devices, like a TV or a device that connects to a TV, you can check your internet speed in the Netflix app by following these steps:

  1. Go to the Netflix home screen and press the back button on your remote to get to the menu.

  2. If the menu is at the top: Click on your profile icon at the top left of the screen, select Get Help, then Check your Network.

If the menu is on the left: Go to the bottom of the screen, select Get Help, then Check your Network.

If the check fails or shows an error, it usually means your device isn't connected to the internet.

If your internet speed is slower than you expect, contact your internet service provider for help.

  1. Open Netflix.

  2. Select Get Help.

  3. Select Check your Network.
