Black bars on screen

Shows and movies on Netflix may be bordered by black bars. 

Some titles are filmed in a format that is wider than your screen and the black bars allow the TV show or movie to be displayed in its original format while preventing the picture from stretching. 

On some mobile devices, you can zoom to use more of the screen. Using this feature may trim the sides of the video.
