Netflix Gift Cards

1. Go to netflix.com/redeem.

   1. If you received a gift card via SMS, tap the redemption link and go to Step 4.

2. Find the code by scratching the foil off the back of your card gently with a coin.

   

   1. If you have a digital gift card, the code is on the email.

   2. If you have a receipt, look for the code in the gift card section.

3. Enter the code and click the Redeem button.

   

4. Enter the email address associated with your account.

   

5. When you see the confirmation, you can Start Watching​.

   

The gift card balance is added to your account and your next payment will be taken from the balance. We will send an email reminder 7 days before your balance runs out.

Follow these steps if you can’t redeem a Netflix gift card or the gift card is damaged.

1. Go to netflix.com/redeem.

4. Enter an email address and click Continue then Create Account.

   

   

5. Choose a plan and click Next.

   

   

6. Create a password and click Next.

   

7. Enter a payment method to continue using Netflix after the gift card runs out. You can also skip this step.

   

8. When you see the confirmation, you can Start Membership​.

   

The gift card balance is added to your account and your next payment will be taken from the balance. We will send an email reminder 7 days before your balance runs out.

Follow these steps if you can’t redeem a Netflix gift card or the gift card is damaged.

You can redeem multiple gift cards on netflix.com/redeem. Your available balance will increase with each gift card you add. You can check your available balance on the Billing Details or Membership page.

Follow these steps if you can’t redeem a Netflix gift card or the gift card is damaged.

You can use a gift card purchased in a different country as long as the gift card is in the same currency as your Netflix bill.

1. To check the balance on your Netflix gift card, go to netflix.com/redeem.

2. Find the code by scratching the foil off the back of your card gently with a coin.

   

   1. If you have a digital gift card, the code is on the email.

   2. If you have a receipt, look for the code in the gift card section.

3. Enter the code and click the Redeem button to see your balance.

   

Unless you have another payment method on file, you can watch Netflix until the entire amount on the gift card is used. We'll remind you when the balance is getting low.

• If you want to keep watching Netflix, simply add another gift card or payment method before your balance runs out.

• If you change plans, it will change the rate at which the available balance is used.

• If you cancel your account, you can keep watching Netflix until your gift card balance runs out. Gift cards are non-refundable.

Once you've redeemed your gift card, you can check your available balance on the Billing Details or Membership page.

This date is estimated because the amount taken from your gift balance each month can change if you switch plans or if local taxes or fees change. The date shown on your Account page will update based on current information.

You can apply a gift card to your account if you pay through a third party, except if you pay through Apple or if you have a Netflix-included package.

• If you pay through Apple and want to use a Netflix gift card, you will need to cancel your Netflix account, wait until it closes, then restart it with your gift card.

• If you have a Netflix-included package or package add-on, you can save the gift card and use it when your account is no longer linked to a package. You can also apply it to a different Netflix account.

If the gift card amount does not cover the cost for a full month of your current plan, we will prorate the account for the number of days it covers.

Once you redeem the gift card, it can take up to 60 minutes for the hold to be removed.
