Netflix supports two different HDR streaming formats, Dolby Vision and HDR10.
What do I need to stream with Dolby Vision or HDR10?
A smart TV that supports either Dolby Vision or HDR10 and Netflix, connected to your device via an HDMI port that supports HDCP 2.2 or later (usually the HDMI 1 port).
A 4 Screen Netflix plan. You can check which plan you're currently on at Netflix.com/ChangePlan.
A steady internet connection speed of 25 megabits per second or higher.
Streaming quality set to High. More information about video quality settings can be found in our playback settings article.
For exact device models with Dolby Vision and HRD10 available, please search the Help Center for your device. If Dolby Vision or HDR10 is available on your device, the models on which it is available will be provided in the HDR section. You may also consider contacting your device manufacturer for more information.

We recommend an internet connection speed of at least 25 megabits per second to stream titles available in HDR10 and Dolby Vision at Ultra HD 4K resolution. Not all titles are available in Dolby Vision or HDR10.
4K (Ultra HD) is a high density pixel resolution that provides greater detail in a video image. HDR10 or Dolby Vision are color and dynamic range enhancements of an image that provide a more realistic or lifelike representation of the content.
