VPNs (virtual private networks) can make your device or network look like it's connecting to Netflix from somewhere other than your actual location.
While using a VPN, the TV shows and movies available to you are limited to titles where Netflix owns the global rights, for example Squid Game or Stranger Things. To watch all TV shows and movies available in your country, turn off your VPN and try Netflix again.
Using a web browser, go to fast.com to run a connection test.
Wait for the test to finish, then click Show More Info.
Next to Client, note the city and country listed.
If the country shown matches the country you're in and you still have trouble, contact Netflix Customer Service.
If the country shown doesn't match the country you're in, it usually mean a VPN is in use on your device or network. You'll need to turn it off to get TV shows and movies available in your region.
To learn how to turn off your VPN, contact your VPN provider or your network's administrator. Because each VPN app or service might be different, Netflix Customer Service can't help with turning off a VPN.
