How to use Netflix on your Nebula or Anker Android TV streaming media player

Welcome to Netflix on your Nebula or Anker Android TV streaming media player! Use this article to learn about Netflix features and how to set up and sign out of your account. If you’re unsure if your device supports Netflix, follow the steps in the “Set up Netflix” section to attempt to locate the Netflix app.

Netflix is available on the Nebula or Anker Android TV devices. Netflix streaming features on supported devices include:

Navigation
On most devices, you can browse through rows of TV shows and movies, including a row dedicated to your My List selections. Each row represents a category such as comedies, dramas, or TV shows that we show you based on what you’ve watched.

Resolution
Most devices can stream Netflix in high definition on fast internet connections and will play Netflix in their maximum supported resolution.

Parental controls
You can set parental controls on individual profiles.

Subtitles & alternate audio
Learn how to turn on subtitles, closed captions, and alternate audio (including 5.1 surround sound), which are available on many TV shows and movies. Many devices let you choose the appearance of subtitles and captions. Some devices display subtitles and captions in their default appearance, or aren't set up to display subtitles.

To connect your Nebula or Anker device to your Netflix account, start from the Home screen and choose from the options below.

  1. Press the Menu button on your remote.

  2. Locate the Netflix app and press OK.

  3. Once in the Netflix app, select Sign In.

Your device is now connected to your Netflix account.

  1. Begin from your TV home screen.

  2. Press the Netflix button on your remote.

  3. Once in the Netflix app, select Sign In and follow the instructions on the screen.

To sign out of the Netflix account on your device, follow these steps.

  1. Go to the Netflix home screen, then go left to open the menu.

  2. At the bottom, select Get Help > Sign out > Yes.

    Note:If you don't see Get Help, go up and select Settings.

If you can't find Get Help, Settings, or Sign out:

  1. Using your remote, press these buttons in this order: Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, Up, Up, Up, Up.

  2. On the menu that appears, select Sign out, Start Over, Reset, or Deactivate.

Netflix is available in Ultra HD on select Nebula or Anker devices. To stream in Ultra HD, you will need:

  • A Netflix plan that supports streaming in 4K Ultra HD.

  • A 2014 or newer 4K Ultra HD TV that is capable of streaming 4K Ultra HD content at 60 Hz, connected to your cable box via an HDMI port that supports HDCP 2.2 or later (usually the HDMI 1 port).

  • A steady internet connection speed of 15 megabits per second or higher.

  • Streaming quality set to High or Auto.

The following Nebula or Anker models currently support Netflix in Ultra HD:

  • 4K Streaming Dongle

Netflix is available in HDR on select Nebula or Anker devices. To stream in HDR, you will need:

  • A Netflix plan that supports streaming in Ultra HD.

  • A streaming device that supports either Dolby Vision or HDR and Netflix.

  • A smart TV that supports either Dolby Vision or HDR10 connected to your device via an HDMI port that supports HDCP 2.2 or later (usually the HDMI 1 port).

  • A steady internet connection speed of 15 megabits per second or higher.

  • Streaming quality set to High.

The following Nebula or Anker models currently support Netflix in HDR:
