How to check your Netflix billing date
When your Netflix payment is due
Your billing cycle starts on the date you sign up. Your Netflix membership is charged at the beginning of your billing cycle and can take several days to appear on your account.
View your billing date
You can find your billing date at the top of your Payment History page (you may need to sign in). You can also see the list of your past charges, including any applicable taxes.
Reasons your billing date may change
Plan upgrade or change: Switching to a higher-priced plan or adding an extra member can create prorated charges or shift your billing cycle based on remaining credit balances.
Payment failure or hold: If a monthly payment fails due to insufficient funds or an expired card, your account goes on hold. Once resolved, your new billing date resets to the day the payment is successful.
Third-party billing: If you pay through a third party, your provider's billing date may be different than your Netflix billing date.
Shorter months: If your billing date does not occur on the last day of each month (for example, the 31st), you will be billed on the last day of that month instead.
Time zone: Your billing date may be one day earlier or later due to time zone differences.
Change your billing date
You can't change your billing date, but you can:
If you cancel within your current billing period, you can continue watching Netflix until the end of the billing period. If your account is on hold, your account is canceled immediately.
Restart it on the date you want to be billed on.
