How to watch Netflix on your projector

Most Netflix-supported devices come with the Netflix app pre-installed. You can get to Netflix from the main menu, a list of apps, or from a Netflix button on the remote. If you can't find Netflix in the main menu or on the remote, you might need to download it from your device's app store first. If you can't find the app store or don't see Netflix, contact your device manufacturer.

Supported regions

Most devices let you watch Netflix wherever Netflix is available, but some older models only work in the country where they were bought. Be sure to check with the projector's manufacturer to see if Netflix works in your region.

Navigation

You can browse through rows of TV shows and movies (including the My List row) on most devices. Each row is a category (for example, comedies or dramas) and is based on what you’ve watched.

Resolution

Most devices can stream Netflix in high definition. As long as you have a fast internet connection, and a Netflix plan that supports it, you'll be able to watch in the highest resolution your device allows.

Parental controls

You can set parental controls on individual Netflix profiles.

Subtitles & alternate audio

Learn how to turn on subtitles, closed captions, and alternate audio (including 5.1 surround sound), which are available for most TV shows and movies.

  • Contact the manufacturer. Ask the company that made your projector if it's been certified to work with Netflix, or for help fixing other issues.
