How to update Netflix account information

If you want to update your Netflix account information, follow the steps below.

Password

If you know your password and can sign in to Netflix but want to change it, go to netflix.com/password. You can also go to your account page and choose Change password on any non-Kids profile.

Email address

Sign in to the Netflix website to update your email address from your Account page on any non-Kids profile.

  • You may be required to confirm your current payment information or enter a verification code we send to your current email address.

  • If you can't sign in with your current password, send yourself a password reset email.

  • If you forget the email address associated with your account, go to our Sign In Help page and follow the steps.

Phone number

Sign in to the Netflix website to change your phone number from your Account page on any non-Kids profile.

  • You may be required to confirm your current payment information or enter a verification code we send to your current email address.

  • If you can't sign in with your current password, send yourself a password reset email.

  • If you forget the email address associated with your account, go to our Sign In Help page and follow the steps.

Billing information

Sign in to the Netflix website to update your Netflix payment method or billing information. If you are being billed through a third party and not directly through Netflix, please visit the third party's website to update this information.

Once you update your account information, we'll send you an email confirming the changes. If you have any issues saving your updated information, follow these troubleshooting steps.
