How do I cancel my account?

We hate to see you go, but if you need to cancel your membership, all you need to do is click the Cancel Membership link on the Account page.

I'm seeing charges from Netflix that I did not authorize

If you suspect someone has opened a Netflix account with your payment information without your consent, or if you do not recognize charges coming from Netflix, please contact us immediately.

How do I remove someone who is using my account without my permission?

To remove unauthorized access to your Netflix account, we recommend that you sign out of all devices on your account by visiting Manage Devices on the Account page under Settings. This should take place for all signed in devices within a few minutes. After the devices have been removed, we recommend that you change your password.

How do you share my information?

We use the information we collect to provide, analyze, administer, enhance and personalize our services and marketing efforts, to process member registration, orders and payments, and to communicate with members on these and other topics. We share information for limited purposes as explained in our Privacy Statement (see the Disclosure of Information section). For example, your personal information might be disclosed to or accessible by other companies, agents or contractors who perform services on our behalf, such as our customer service representatives and IT service providers. However, we do not authorize these companies to use or disclose users' personal information except in connection with providing their services.

Do you sell my information?

We do not sell or rent personal information to third parties for their marketing purposes or any other use.

How do I unsubscribe from Netflix emails?

We offer you the opportunity to opt-out of marketing and certain other Netflix emails, including surveys. For instructions on how to opt-out, see How to manage email from Netflix.

Where do I send this fake email I received?

If you suspect you’ve received a fake (phishing) email pretending to be Netflix, please feel free to report such emails to phishing@netflix.com. Phishing is an attempt to acquire your personal information by pretending to represent a website or company you trust online. We do not recommend clicking on any links, responding or providing any information in response to this email.
